HOLD THE LINE – DO NOT GIVE IN TO AUSNET’S AND AEMO’S FORCEFUL TACTICS
AusNet and AEMO continue their deplorable engagement with the community and landholders.
AusNet and AEMO’s so called community engagement and forceful actions to gain access to land exemplify a low level of corporate social responsibility and complete disregard for effected community members.
Do not allow these organizations or their agents to access to your land:
- Be wary of any land access agreement. This is a first step in a long-term easement option which will be detrimental to future discussions.
- The land access agreements do not provide suitable protection for landholders and fall far short of the proposed access protocols proposed by RVPA, based on best practice land access agreements.
- These agreements provide no independent compliant process.
- AusNet’s and AEMO’s claim they have been working with landholders to mitigate impacts is misleading.
- AusNet’s and AEMO’s offer of compensation for access is a demonstration of their desperation.
Those who have received requests for land access are encouraged to “Hold the Line”, collectively we must not allow this aggressive intimidation to continue.
Don’t back down, collectively as a United Community we will Hold the Line – that means no access now nor in the future.
Collectively we cannot continue to allow AusNet and AEMO in the name of the State Government to conduct their engagement with contempt. Nor can we allow them to be dismissive of the genuine and real impacts and risks associated with this project.
The community has and will remain united against this destructive high voltage transmission project.
Stay UNITED and continue to show support to our neighbours and save your family, farm, home, business and your environment.
